The Void is the inhospitable area beneath Bedrock level. However, The Void has only been added to The End in the Console Edition. Falling into the Void is the only possible way to die in Creative mode.

- While in the Void, the player takes approximately 2.5 hearts of damage per second, causing death in 4-5 seconds.
- If a Mob enters the Void, the game will attempt to despawn the Mob, taking around 2 ticks (0.2 seconds). This also applies to entities, such as dropped items.
- In the Console Edition, you cannot fall into the void as of the 1.3 update, unless in The End, you would just stand on it without falling.
