Sandstone is a type of block that is found naturally in Minecraft. It is a found anywhere below sand in layers 3 to 4, commonly. Sandstone may also be found in the construction of a desert temple and a desert well. Unlike Sand, sandstone doesn't obey physics. Sandstone can only be mined with a Wooden Pickaxe or higher. Sandstone has a higher blast resistance than normal sand but can still be blown up.
