Gravel is a gravity-affected block that spawns naturally underground and on the roads of NPC Villages. It is not a craftable item, and is only a renewable resource on the Xbox and PS3 (with the Nether Reset) option, as it will also generate there in large clusters. There is a 10% chance that it will drop Flint when mined. It is a common choice for roads.

- Occasionally, gravel may be suspended in the air. If an adjacent block is mined, gravity will affect the gravel blocks and they will fall. If the player is standing directly underneath the falling blocks, damage will occur.
