An Enchantment Table allows the player to enchant their armor, tools and weapons to make them better. To use your Enchantment Table, you need to use your Experience points (Also added in Update 7). To use it, go up to it and press LT, then the Enchantment menu will pop up. Then the player puts whatever tool, weapon or armor they want to enchant into the space beneath the book and selects a sentence on how they want it enchanted. When an item has been enchanted, it will have a slightly pinkish shine on it.

To make an Enchantment Table, you must have 1 Book, 2 Diamonds and 4 Obsidian.

Unbreaking[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Tools, Weapons and Armor
Effect: Gives the Enchanted Tool, Weapon, or Armor a chance to not degrade when used.
Efficiency[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Tools
Effect: Increases the gathering rate of the Enchanted Tool.
Silk Touch[]
Max Level: 1 - Applicable To: Tools
Effect: Causes the Enchanted Tool to gather the source block of the block that is mined (i.e. Mining stone will give Stone, not Cobblestone).
Sharpness[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Swords
Effect: Increases attack damage.
Knockback[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Swords
Effect: Increases attack Knockback.
Fire Aspect[]
Max Level: 3 - Applicable To: Swords
Effect: Lights enemies on fire when attacked.

Effect: Increases attack damage.

Effect: Arrows will light enemies on fire.

Max Level: 1 - Applicable To: Bows
Effect: Gives the enchanted bow Infinite arrows as long as there is 1 arrow in the players inventory.
Protection[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Armor
Effect: Reduces damage taken when hit.
Fire Protection[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Armor
Effect: Reduces damage taken from fire or Lava.
Blast Protection[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Armor
Effect: Reduces damage taken from Explosions (TNT, Creepers, ect.)
Feather Falling[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Boots (Armor)
Effect: Reduces damage taken from falling.
Respiration[]
Max Level: 5 - Applicable To: Helmets (Armor)
Effect: Increases breath meter while underwater. (Effects reduce damage by the following amounts: Lvl 1: 10%, Lvl 2: 20%, Lvl 3: 30%, ect.)
Thorns[]
Max Level: 3 - Applicable To: Armor
Effect: Deals damage to attacker.
Trivia[]
- Only 15 Bookshelves are required to use the Enchantment Table to its full effect.
- When in sneak mode on an Enchantment Table, you can still fall off due to it being less than 1 block high.
- TNT can not destroy an Enchantment Table.
- Even though it is made of Obsidian, it doesn't require a Diamond Pickaxe to be mined, it can be mined with any Pickaxe.
